Semiconductor Times Ceases Publication!
Since 1997, Semiconductor Times has been the definitive source for discovering emerging semiconductor technologies and companies. After 29 years and 330 issues, the January 2024 issue was the last. That's a pretty good run. In this hyper-connected information overload era, I'm a bit surprised we've lasted this long.
From my office, numerous vacations, and even a hospital bed every month Semiconductor Times brought its subscribers the hottest startups and technologies in a concise, highly curated no-nonsense format. Semiconductor Times was coveted by senior industry executives and the financial community worldwide.
The Semiconductor Times online startup database will remain live for subscribers for now.
These days, I spend the bulk of my time and brainpower inside the industry, not writing about it. I currently manage Li-ion battery management system (BMS) IC business development in North America and Europe for a PMIC company. I am also a trusted advisor and manager of ultra-low power AI/DSP processor sales in North America for a European semiconductor company. Engaging directly with customers has always been my passion.
If you would like to explore how I can bolster your business development activities, please reach out. To brainstorm ideas, see Assignments on the Pinestream website.
Sincerely,
Cliff Hirsch, Publisher
